Bernardo is a native of Del Rio, Texas. He earned his bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Texas A&M and a master’s degree in Advanced International and European Studies from Centre International de Formation Européenne. Before attending law school, Mr. Gonzalez was a consular services advisor at Berry Appleman & Leiden and a legal assistant at the Law Office of Robert Jobe. Mr. Gonzalez obtained his Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law and has been licensed in Texas. While in law school, Mr. Gonzalez was the 1L and 2L President of the Student Bar Association and the coordinator for the Immigration Clinic, where he ran the DACA and Naturalization clinics. Bernardo began working as a law clerk at DMCA in 2019.
Bernardo is fluent in Spanish. He is passionate about immigration law and making the immigration process as smooth as possible. He believes that all people deserve quality representation and wishes to provide that to his clients.
